Created in Asana
Integrated Program Templates
Throughout my roles on the Brand Development and Food Experience teams, I documented our workflows in detail and drove an initiative to train team members to use Asana at the most basic level. Previous to joining Nextbite, there was no PM system in place and no way to manage cross-functional projects.
As Asana was adopted within my department and a few others, our work streams transformed and proved to be more efficient. The greatest way Asana streamlined our process was through the templates I created for each workflow in collaboration with the PMO and other key stakeholders. Each template mapped task dependencies, general timing, task ownership, and linked tasks from other templates that impacted that specific workflow directly. This capability not only allowed us to finally create visibility and increase cross-functional communication, but also established a central source of truth for programs and created scalability for future programs.
The forms tool was also heavily utilized, allowing teams to centralize and prioritize requests coming in from other teams.
